Every life holds a story worth telling.
Before the voice fades, let us capture it.
One day their voice will be gone
The Legacy Session preserves the stories, wisdom and laughter of the people you love, before it's too late.
We think we have time. We think we'll ask later. Record it later. Capture it later.
But later comes faster than we expect. And one day, without warning, those stories are simply gone.
The Legacy Session is a professionally guided conversation, capturing your loved one's voice, wisdom and laughter before it's too late.

Why The Lessons & The Laughter?
Born from a moment I never want another family to experience.
My name is Betsy, and I started The Lessons & The Laughter because of a day I will never forget, the day I realised I could no longer remember my father's voice.
"I sat there and I couldn't hear him anymore. The way he said my name. The way he told a story. The laugh that filled the room. It was gone, and I hadn't thought to hold onto it."
How we preserve your story
The Experience
A warm, unhurried 120-minute conversation in our Braybrook studio. Guided to draw out the stories, the laughter, and the moments that matter most. No scripts, no pressure. Just the joy of being truly listened to, often for the first time.
The Digital Archive
A professionally edited film capturing the session, alongside the complete raw audio and video recordings, preserved in high fidelity, forever.
Every laugh, every pause, every story told exactly as it happened.
The Legacy Edition
A beautifully designed, custom hardcover book woven from their hand-selected quotes and photographs. Something to hold, to pass down, and to leave on a shelf where grandchildren will one day find it. This is the piece families return to again and again.
I loved my session so much I can’t stop telling everyone about it.”
